    At the heart of the DTX520K lies the new DTX snare drum pad featuring Yamahas Textured Cellular Silicone Pad. This DTX-PAD is 3-Zones which allows 3 separate areas of the playing surface with the Head and 2 Rim Zones. The Cymbal pads are also 3-Zone for Bell Bow and Edge of the cymbals to allow for total expression. The DTX520K is mounted on a new RS500 rack which is designed for stability comfort and flexibility.
